Caring for your handmade goods
Comb care - Combs and pins are not recommended to be used with wet or damp hair, the wood will loose it's smooth finish by raising the grain. Each comb is finished with a coating of walnut oil. To maintain the woods luster you can apply additional coats of any kind of wood oil throughout the life of the comb. When applying oil to your comb or pin make sure the surface of the wood is clean and dry. Using a clean, soft cloth or paper towel, apply the oil in an even layer over the wood. Allow it to soak in then wipe away any excess.
Paper sculpture care - To prevent the fading of colors, display bird out of direct sunlight. To remove any dust that might settle use a soft bristled paint brush and dust with the direction of the feathers.
Processing & Shipping
All orders are processed and mailed within 3-5 business days of receiving payment. If you have a special shipping requests (we are unable to ship to P.O. boxes) or would like to place an international order please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org to discus shipping options.
International Shipping? Yes! We offer $15 flat rate shipping.
Items will be accepted for repair up to 30 days from the original invoice. Please note we are not responsible for shipping charges on repaired items.
We accept returns within 14 days of receipt of goods. All sales are final on custom designed work, and sale items. Please note, shipping charges are non-refundable. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the original packaging and in the same condition that you received it. Customers must email within the 14-day return window to receive a return authorization before shipping back. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs to our studio. We are not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs when return shipping, so we strongly encourage you to pack the items well and ship via a trusted carrier.
For Birds: All sales are final. Due to differences in monitor settings, the artwork may vary slightly in color from how it is viewed on the computer screen.
Upon delivery of your order, please inspect that the contents have arrived in good condition. In the event that your artwork arrives damaged, please send an email to email@example.com with photos and we can discuss a suitable solution for you. Not responsible for any damage that occurs during unpacking or installation of artwork. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
